We have been noodling over a few different purchases lately - dining room chairs, chairs for our family room, an accent chair for a reading nook in our bedroom, a loveseat. We are in need of seating! I have spent many hours on Anthropologie and today stumbled upon their home tours, which provide inspiration in all of the earthy tones and velvety fabrics. I coincidentally clicked on the mid-century modern tour, which features the Glen House, original designed by architect Richard Neutra, in Stamford, Connecticut. I can't get enough of the evening light and the exposure to the outdoors, not to mention the general design choices.

Welcome to my midcentury musings...

I'm Madeline, a Northern Virginia resident settling into a midcentury hideaway in the suburbs. I love low-fi music, Negronis, and firing up the record player on Friday nights.
