Our home is for sale

I wasn't sure I wanted to post a bit of an advertisement on the blog but I figured for those of you interested in our home and the work we've done, now is the chance to come see it in person. Redfin listing here! Additionally, if you are in the market and interested in a reasonably priced, totally updated MCM within 15-20 minutes from central DC, our house might be a fit. We have absolutely loved living in this home the past four years and we are sad to leave after putting so much intention and labor into it. The home also comes with the best neighbors ever and an idyllic, quiet cul-de-sac that will be hard to find in our new city of Portland, Oregon.

Our long term plan has always been to relocate to Portland, especially once kids came into the picture as we knew we would need more family support. That time is now... as our daughter was born on May 11 and while I don't recommend putting your house on the market with a 3 week old, I'm not sure what we would have done differently. We are working with the amazing Suzanne Parmet of Compass and her team (including Daisy Lacey), who have gone above and beyond to get the house ready and make this weekend happen. Open houses are tomorrow and Sunday from 1-3 PM.
